United Effort Campaign
United we stand, divided we fall!
Let's unite our efforts to educate our children!
The Educational EScore is an electronic system that allows you to grade the educational effort of the student. Today, most schools have adopted a Student Information System (SIS) like Parent Portal or Powerschool which allows the school, parent and student to monitor student progress. The SIS program reports on seven key areas: attendance, tardies, classwork, homework, quizzes, tests and finally the overall grade. Although this tool is readily available, many parents have not learned how to interpret the data made available through the SIS to consistently assess their child's behavior and performance effectively. So we developed the concept of the Educational EScore to sort the SIS data and pinpoint specific areas of concern. The EScore can assist teachers and parents in identifying which of the seven key areas may be hindering the student's progress. Furthermore, it can help determine if the student's effort is the primary cause for poor performance instead of solely addressing instruction, classroom discipline, school climate, etc.
Educational EScore
1. exertion of physical or mental power: It will take great effort to achieve victory.
2. an earnest or strenuous attempt: an effort to keep to the schedule.
3. something done by exertion or hard work: I thought it would be easy, but it was an effort.
4. an achievement, as in literature or art: The painting is one of his finest efforts.
5. the amount of exertion expended for a specified purpose: the war effort.
